Celebrate Library Card Sign-up Month this September with Franklin-Springboro Public Library and the American Library Association!
The Franklin-Springboro Public Library is hosting their summer reading program, “Adventure Begins at Your Library”, from May 20 through July 20. The summer reading program has been a staple of the library for many years, with kids, teens, and adults reading for prizes of all kinds. Kids are treated to several stages of prizes with the reading program, teens are given the opportunity to win free tickets to King’s Island as well as grand prizes, a choice of camping gear, ghost hunting equipment, and an action/adventure prize pack.
The Renovation Project is coming to a close. If all goes as planned, the Springboro branch will reopen with full services available by September 22, 2023.
A Grand Reopening & Centennial Celebration is scheduled for September 22, 2023 at 3:30 - 6 p.m. At 4 p.m., there will be a ribbon-cutting ceremony by Springboro Chamber of Commerce and Chamber 45005.
In addition, there will be live music by David Thornton, a scavenger hunt, balloon twisting, a photo booth, and giveaways.
The Springboro Branch is CLOSED today, Tuesday, December 27, 2022 because of a broken pipe and no restroom access.

If the children’s staff at the library seem especially smiley these days, it’s because we are excited about the return of in-person storytimes. Though video storytimes were extremely fun to make and share, there’s nothing quite like seeing children’s faces as they enjoy stories and songs in a traditional storytime setting.
