YALSA's Teen Book Finder is a free online database and app to help teens, parents, librarians and library staff, educators, and anyone who loves YA literature access to nearly 4,000 titles recognized by YALSA's awards and lists on their smartphone.
App features include:
- a homepage featuring three titles from the database, refreshed each day
- the ability to search for books by author, title, genre, award, and more
- a Find It! button, powered by the OCLC WorldCat Search API, that will show users where to find the book in a nearby library
- a Favorites button to create an individualized book list
- the ability to share books from the Teen Book Finder on Twitter and Facebook

Deciding what to read next? Goodreads is the world's largest site for readers and book recommendations. Their mission is to help people find and share books they love. Search by a title, genre, or author you've enjoyed in the past, and they'll give you surprisingly insightful recommendations.

Fantastic Fiction
Fantastic Fiction is an online catalog of authors and books for those of use who love to read fiction. FF is unique in that the website is centered around authors rather than books; so you can see at a glance everything they have written in the order in which they were published, plus any new or forthcoming books. At the foot of each author's page you can see who else their visitors were interested in.

YALSA (Young Adult Library Services Association) Book Awards have been selected for teens from 12 to 18 years of age. The titles on YALSA's book lists contain a broad range of reading and maturity levels. We encourage parents to take an active role in helping individual teens choose those books that are the best fit for them and their families.
Alex Awards
The Alex Awards are given to ten books written for adults that have special appeal to young adults, ages 12 through 18.
Edwards Award
The Margaret A. Edwards Award, established in 1988, honors an author, as well as a specific body of his or her work, for significant and lasting contribution to young adult literature.
Morris Awards
The William C. Morris YA Debut Award honors a debut book published by a first-time author writing for teens and celebrating impressive new voices in young adult literature.
Nonfiction Award
The Nonfiction Award is given to the best nonfiction book published for the young adults.
Odyssey Award
This annual award is given to the producer of the best audiobook produced for children and/or young adults, available in English in the United States.
Printz Award
The Michael L. Printz Award, sponsored by Booklist, honors the best book written for teens each year.
