Paws to Read

Paws to Read will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 28 at the Franklin Library.

Children, ages 5-12, of all reading abilities can schedule a 15-minute time slot to read to an animal at the library.

Reading to furry friends can encourage a child’s reading skills and confidence. Certified therapy animals, along with their handlers, will be on hand to listen as young readers share stories with them in a safe, private space. Parents may stay with their child.

Registration is required. Call either library to sign up for a time slot.
