The Teen Travelers are heading to Italy!

All across the country, Italians celebrate the amazing Infiorata festivals. The word "infiorata" means "decorated with flowers," and that's exactly what they do. Using flower petals, artists create beautiful mosaic carpets that quite literally cover thousands of miles worth of streets. This flower tradition dates back to the seventeenth century, and is now celebrated in countries around the world. So, join us at the Franklin Library and make your own colorful carpet of "flowers." We will listen to Italian music and enjoy snacks to help get into the celebratory mood.
