Book POP! Book Club (Learn more here.)

  • Date: Tuesday, April 11
  • Location: Springboro City Building Community Room, 320 W. Central Ave. in Springboro (Right next to the library.)
  • Time: 5 - 6:30 p.m.
  • Ages: 9-12
  • Registration: Registration is required. Call the Franklin Library at (937) 746-2665 to sign up.
  • Description: Join us for the best book club in town! Each month will feature a new book. Participants read the book prior to the meeting and then attend the meeting for a book discussion, activities, and snacks! The books are available for pick-up at the Springboro Library. If you'd prefer to pick up the book at the Franklin Library, let us know when you register, and we'll send a copy to the Franklin Branch for you.

Homeschool Project Zone

  • Date: Tuesday, April 18
  • Location: Franklin Library
  • Time: 2 - 3:30 p.m.
  • Ages: 5-12
  • Registration: Registration is required. Call the Franklin Library at (937) 746-2665 to sign up.
  • Description: Each month will feature a new engaging activity for homeschoolers to complete. Caregivers should stay with their children throughout the program. Homeschool Project Zone is designed for children ages 5-12. Younger siblings may attend, but we can't guarantee we'll have enough supplies for them to participate in the main activity. 
    • April -- "Spin-tacular" toys! Design a spin drum, spinning top, and whirlygig. 

     

    Spring Break Fun

    • Date: Tuesday, April 4
    • Location: Franklin Library
    • Time: 1 - 3 p.m.
    • Ages: 3-12
    • Registration: Registration is not required.
    • Description: Need something fun to do while on a break from school? Stop by the library for crafts and activities that celebrate spring. This is a drop-in program so attendees can arrive when it's convenient for them.

     

    Camp Read-A-Lot

    • Date: Friday, April 28
    • Location: Franklin Library
    • Time: 6:30 - 8 p.m.
    • Ages: 4-8
    • Registration: Registration is required. Call the Franklin Library at (937) 746-2665 to sign up.
    • Description: Leave your tents and kayaks at home, but join us as we hike through the library completing special activities to promote reading. Our camp-themed evening is designed for children and their grown-ups to participate together. Have s'more fun with us as we hone those literacy skills and become happy campers!
